8 The beat up force must be uniform for all the weft
threads.

1 Draft the warp yarns as mentioned in task 1.

TASK 8: Inserting pirn into the shuttle

1 Take a shuttle (small in size) which is used in 5 Now take the thread from the pirn and pass it through

TASK 9: Weave the plain shawl on the through shuttle loom

1 Press the treadles by using legs to raise the healds Fig 1
up and down.

2 Now the warp threads will divide in two layers to form
a shed.
3 Pull the shuttle between the shed with the help of
hand i.e.(right hand to left hand). (Fig 1)
